Media stays local
Photos, videos, gallery records, and reports are stored on your device and in Apple Photos when you save or export them.
Location is permission-based
Precise location, address, altitude, and heading are used only when you allow them and only to create field documentation.
No sale of personal data
ProStamp does not sell personal information or use your capture data for third-party advertising.
Information ProStamp Uses
ProStamp uses information needed to create timestamped, GPS-stamped, verifiable work documentation. Depending on the features you choose, this may include:
- Camera and microphone access for photos and videos.
- Photo library access to save captures, choose logos, and verify selected media.
- Location, altitude, compass heading, street address, weather, and map snapshot information for watermarks, metadata, and reports.
- Company logo images, work profiles, custom text, and work-site packs that you create or import.
- Verification metadata embedded in exported files so a photo or video can be checked later.
How Information Is Stored
ProStamp stores app data locally on your device. Saved media may also appear in your Apple Photos library. If you use iCloud features provided by iOS, Apple may sync supported app data, such as profiles or logos, through your iCloud account according to your Apple settings.
When you delete photos, videos, reports, logos, profiles, or work-site packs, deletion behavior depends on where the item is stored: inside ProStamp, in Apple Photos, in iCloud, or in a file you exported or shared.
Sharing and Reports
You control when media, reports, ZIP archives, or work-site packs are exported or shared from ProStamp. Shared files may include visible watermarks and embedded metadata such as capture time, GPS coordinates, address, verification signatures, and related job information.
Network Access
ProStamp may contact network services to support app features. These requests are used to provide the feature you selected, not to build an advertising profile.
Network time
Used to make capture timestamps more trustworthy.
Weather and map services
Used to display weather, map snapshots, and location context in watermarks or reports.
App Store checks
Used when you ask ProStamp to check for an available update or leave a rating.
Work-site catalogs
Used to download optional shared work-site packs from ProStamp or a catalog URL you provide.
Support Requests
If you email ProStamp support, we receive the information you choose to include, such as your email address, app version, device details, screenshots, or a description of the issue. We use that information to respond to your request and improve ProStamp.
Children
ProStamp is designed for professional field documentation and is not directed to children under 13.
Changes
We may update this policy as ProStamp evolves. When we make meaningful changes, we will update the date at the top of this page.
